Notable Downgrades: Bank of America (BAC), Michael Kors (KORS), Amgen Inc. (AMGN), Tilly’s (TLYS)

Analysts at Portales Partners downgraded Bank of America Corporation (BAC) from ‘Outperform‘ to ‘Sector Perform‘ in a research report issued to clients on Thursday.

On valuation measures, BofA stock it’s trading at a forward P/E multiple of 10.45x, and at a multiple of 24.21x this year’s estimated earnings. The t-12-month revenue at Bank of America Corp. is $80.85 billion. BAC ‘s ROE for the same period is 3.51%.

Shares of the $174.65 billion market cap banking giant are up 11.07% year-over-year ; down 6.14% year-to-date.

Bank of America Corp., currently with a median Wall Street price target of $18.00 and a high target of $21.00, dropped $0.11 to $16.63 in recent trading.

Michael Kors Holdings Limited (KORS) was downgraded from ‘Outperform‘ to ‘Market Perform‘ and the price target was slashed to $50 from $84 at Telsey Advisory Group.

Shares have traded today between $45.68 and $46.95 with the price of the stock fluctuating between $45.68 to $97.14 over the last 52 weeks.

Michael Kors Holdings Ltd. shares are currently changing hands at 11.06x this year’s forecasted earnings, compared to the industry’s 24.66x earnings multiple. Ticker has a t-12 price/sales ratio of 2.18. EPS for the same period registers at $4.16.

Shares of KORS have gained $0.10 to $46.03 in mid-day trading on Thursday, giving it a market cap of $9.24 billion. The stock traded as high as $97.14 in May 29, 2014.

Amgen Inc. (AMGN) was reiterated a ‘Buy’ by Deutsche Bank (DB) analysts on Thursday. The broker also cut its price target on the stock to $192 from $200.

Amgen Inc. recently traded at $157.39, a loss of $3.05 over Wednesday’s closing price. The name has a current market capitalization of $119.67 billion.

As for passive income investors, the company pays shareholders $3.16 per share annually in dividends, yielding 2.00%.

Tilly’s, Inc. (TLYS) rating of ‘Neutral’ was reiterated today at B. Riley & Co. with a price target decrease of $15 from $17 (versus a $13.00 previous close).

TLYS was down $3.06 at $9.94 in mid-day trade, moving within a 52-week range of $6.65 to $16.99. The name, valued at $281.81 million, opened at $11.66.

On valuation measures, Tilly’s Inc. shares are currently priced at 19.88x this year’s forecasted earnings. Ticker has a t-12 price/sales ratio of 0.70. EPS for the same period registers at $0.50.
