Stocks to Watch: Novogen (NVGN), XOMA Corporation (XOMA), IMAX Corp (IMAX), Biocept (BIOC), Canadian Solar (CSIQ), One Horizon Group (OHGI)

Shares of Novogen Limited (NVGN) are higher by 1.69% to $6.00 in early trading on Thursday after the company announced the lodgement with the U.S. Patent Office of a key patent covering a novel family of compounds within the company’s ATM drug technology platform. The ATM technology platform is concerned with drugs that disassemble the microfilament component of a cell’s cytoskeleton.

XOMA Corporation (XOMA) shares surged 2.41% to $3.40 in early trading after the company announced that its Phase 3 EYEGUARD(TM)-B Study, sponsored by its development partner Servier,  has reached target exacerbation event as specified in the study design.

Shares of IMAX Corporation (IMAX) are up $3.15, or over 8%, at $41.92, after the company this morning said that IMAX China Holding, Inc., a Cayman Islands company and a subsidiary of IMAX, has submitted a listing application on Form A1 in connection with an initial public offering and listing of its shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Biocept, Inc. (BIOC) was up 40c or 13.42% to $3.40 as of 9:41 a.m. ET, following the company’s blood-based liquid biopsy for non-small cell lung carcinoma mention in American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Abstract.

Canadian Solar Inc. (CSIQ) shares climbed 3.22% to $34.33 in morning trading after the company said it has supplied modules to the Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone PV Plant, Turkey’s largest PV project.

Shares of One Horizon Group, Inc. (OHGI) continue to surge on Thursday, up $2.87, or 142.15%, at $4.89. The company announced that its Chinese retail VoIP service Aishuo, now supports all of the major Chinese mobile payment platforms including China UnionPay, Alibaba’s Alipay and Tencent’s Wechat Wallet.
