Meritor Inc. shares are currently changing hands at 4.55x this year’s forecasted earnings, compared to the industry’s 13.17x earnings multiple. Ticker has a t-12 price/sales ratio of 0.36. EPS for the same period registers at $2.68.

Shares of MTOR have lost $1.49 to $12.20 in mid-day trading on Thursday, giving it a market cap of roughly $1.20 billion. The stock traded as high as $15.65 in January 8, 2015.

Sterne Agee reported on Thursday that they have lowered their rating for Chesapeake Energy Corporation (CHK). The firm has downgraded CHK from ‘Neutral‘ to ‘Underperform‘ and set its price target to $9.

Chesapeake Energy Corp. recently traded at $13.48, a loss of $0.65 over Wednesday’s closing price. The name has a current market capitalization of $8.94 billion.

As for passive income investors, the company pays shareholders $0.35 per share annually in dividends, yielding 2.50%. Five year average dividend yield currently stands at 1.70%.

Vitesse Semiconductor Corp. (VTSS) had its rating lowered from ‘Buy‘ to ‘Hold‘ by analysts at Craig Hallum on Thursday. Currently there are 6 analysts that rate VTSS a ‘Buy’. No analyst rates it a ‘Sell’ or a ‘Hold’.

VTSS was down $0.04 at $5.30 in mid-day trade, moving within a 52-week range of $2.70 to $5.35. The name, valued at $365.58 million, opened at $5.32.

On valuation measures, Vitesse Semiconductor Corp. shares have a t-12 price/sales ratio of 3.47. EPS for the same period registers at ($0.28).

Southwestern Energy Co. (SWN) was downgraded by Sterne Agee from a ‘Buy‘ rating to a ‘Neutral‘ rating in a research report issued to clients on Thursday.

SWN closed at $23.66 on Wednesday and is currently trading down $1.42.

In the past 52 weeks, shares of Spring, Texas-based independent energy company have traded between a low of $21.46 and a high of $49.16 and are now trading at $22.24. Shares are down 47.78% year-over-year and 13.30% year-to-date.
