BOOM - Dynamic Materials Corp.

Keeping a close eye on this one. With volume this could jump well. Do your own DD but this is a growing company with a chart staged for a nice jump....

------
Dynamic Materials Corp.'s (BOOM) fourth-quarter net income rose 5.4%, helped by a boost from a large contract from the alternative energy sector.
The Boulder, Colo., international metalworking company's earnings climbed to $6.93 million, or 56 cents a share, from $6.58 million, or 54 cents a share, a year earlier.
Net sales increased 55% to $55.2 million from $35.7 million a year ago on global demand for the company's explosion welded plates. Operating expenses jumped 20%.
On average, analysts surveyed by Thomson Financial predicted fourth-quarter earnings of 57 cents a share and revenue of $48.1 million.
Looking forward, Dynamic Materials expects first-quarter revenue growth of 80% and 2008 revenue growth of up to 60%.

Re: BOOM - Dynamic Materials Corp.

Just a FYI --- Stock broke above, the resistance level of 41.36 three days ago. The previous resistance level of 41.36 may now supply downside support. Volume on the day of the breakout was quite light--- 37% below average. The most reliable breakouts are accompanied with increased volume. And with prices having only risen 5.76% since the breakout, the validity of the breakout is questionable.

The most recently confirmed downtrend line has an ending point of around 58.82. Expect prices to have some difficulty rising above this level. A break above this level specially with heavy volume would be considered a bullish sign.

Ran a 4 point retracement line. The first line is around 45.80.

The above is for a daily chart.
