iPhone to get Push Email, Push Calendar, Push Contacts, Global Address List, Cisco VPM, Certificates and WPA2/ 802.1x, Security Policies, Device Config, Remote Wipe. Will have ActiveSync and Exchange support, the exchange support will be built directly into the iphone, built directly into the same Mail application/calendar on the iphone, MS Exchange is a new option in the 'setup email' list, will have ability to toggle contacts, calendar and email on and off. The same APIs and tools that apple use will be able to use to build apps for the iphone.
Apple is also introducing an iPhone Simulator, allowing iPhone apps to be run on a Mac. Mouse movements in the Simulator can mimic multi touch actions. A game demo of Touch fighter is displayed that took two weeks to write. Open GL and Open AL for apps. Game looks great. Point to shoot, tilt the accelerometer to steer. Game companies were asked to do programs within two weeks using the never seen before SDK. ERTS showing an iPhone version of Spore.
