Question Good books for newbs?

I was thinking it might be a better idea to inform myself with some good books on the subject rather than clutter the chatbox with my newb questions. I am looking for info on the following topics:

share valuation, how to read fundamentals, and tips on momentum trading.

also any other books that may help me out. I want to learn but I realize that WSP was not started for the purpose of tutoring newbs.

So if anyone has read any informative books that would help with our kind of trading, post them here!

Dave, I'm definately just as newb as you. I obtained Real Money by Jim Cramer before I found this forum, and three chapters in I can't find myself reading anymore of it.

"Stan Weinstein's secret for profiting in a bull and bear market", although quite old, is still a must read imo. It combines strong long term analysis with market fundamentals. It will not tell you how ta valuate a stock using the earnings / dividends / etc.

I would recommend another book that i use to study for tommorow's exam, but you will grow tired of it at the third chapter like daveus . No offense dave

I'd love to hear some more recommendations here.

I have an extremely long flight coming up (Tokyo to Newark...what a BEEYATCH of a flight!), and I'm looking for some "light" reading lol.

Preferably not something too heavy or boring.

How bout this...why doesn't everyone name the ONE book that they would recommend to an investor if they could chose only one.

And then one book they'd recommend to a trader in the same case.

Dave, the intelligent investor by Benjamin Graham, that would be the book I'd choose.
