mines 2.5%-5% each day. So far its working out, but some days i make nothing at all. Just remember folks consistant gains with minimal lost over time will generate huge profits. This is what I learned after losing about $2k. There are traders who go for the big numbers but sooner or later they are gonna be hit with a big lost and thats what throws them off balance. Just my 2 cents

Wow, only $2k? You got off lucky!

It took me quite a bit more cash to learn the same lesson.

And the REALLY dumb thing was I did it out of stubbornness..I knew I was "right". Well, the fact was I was "right", but that didn't matter because my timing was jacked (trying to short the homebuilders and lenders too soon, specifically). Thus I also learned the lesson that it's better to be profitable than to be "right".

Since that time, trading life has been VERY nice.

My goal as a trader is to learn more about the market, learn more about analyzing charts, and to make money. (even though it is more likely to try to just keep your nose above the water on the first year of trading)

My goals as an individual are to: Get into a good college, and most of all is to start a Spec Miata season before I graduate high school. (Spec Miata is an entry level racing circuit.)
