The weekly energy inventory report will be released at 10:30 ET, a day later than usual due to the market's closure on Tuesday. Crude oil is trading down 0.3% to $99.33 per barrel.

Just reported, initial jobless claims for the week ended Dec. 29 fell to 336K, compared to the prior revised reading of 357K. Economists expected 345K jobless claims.

mrkt opened on a firmer note but a weakening in Semi and Technology has been a drag on Naz which recently slipped into the red -7.23 Points, Dow has lost almost 30 points from its +40 opening to only 10 green, S&P +1.16, NDX -6.21 rtq (real time quotes)......

Stock indices firm up after Factory Orders data (+1.5% vs +0.5% consensus)..... Dow +61.02 Points, Naz +1.52 from red 7, S&P +6.39 set minor new session highs, NDX +2.56 rtq.

mrkts currently posting highest levels since opening helped by a better than expected economic report ... Dow printng as high as +71 Points, followed by Naz +6.38, S&P +7.22, NDX +6.63 rtq.
