latest government report showed Industrial Production rose 0.5% in June, matching economists’ forecasts, while Capacity Utilization rose to 81.7% (consensus 81.6%).

Dow briefly touching 14,000, but appears to have run into some round-number resistance. The blue-chip average was as high as 14,001.

The indices are still sporting modest gains but are now retracing their morning lows. Reversals in the Discretionary and Staples sectors, which account for nearly 20% of the total weighting on the S&P 500, are contributing to the market's recent pullback.

After being up as much as 1.6% at $75.35/b level about two hours ago, oil prices have spiked lower and into negative territory. Crude for August delivery, which expires today, is now down 0.8% near $73.60/b.
