Lower open indicated. Alcoa earnings disappointment and warning from Chevron top the headlines. oil up $0.20 to $80.46 a barrel as S&P futures continue to point to a slightly lower open.

Mrkts so far have projected a week opening though hard to tell since some stocks, at least the ones we monitor here at wsp are not mirroring mkrt's overall declining picture at all....DRYS, VMW, DSX, VIP...Dow red 51 Points, Naz -1.26.

Dow and S&P opened in negative territory while the Naz opened flat. Stocks rallied yesterday after the FOMC Minutes release, so some profit taking is not unexpected....Dow red 60 Points, Naz - 2.81 rtq

Dow continues to lag behind the other indices -146.65 14,018, mind u theyr all in red - as it hits fresh intraday lows. Naz keeps fluctuating btwn positive/negative and flat line territory with rtq printing 2,797 -6.68...overall goes w/out saying decliners have a strong hold of breadth for time being and not likely to change into end of session.
