It’s already been five years since the search engine giant Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG), went public. Originally priced at $85 a pop on Aug. 19, 2004, the offering was called at the time overvalued, audacious, and many viewed the stock’s ability to sustain its introductory PPS levels, quite skeptically. In an exclusive interview with FBN’s Liz Claman, WR Hambrecht Chairman & CEO Bill Hambrecht, who is credited for helping persuade Google to use  a modified Dutch auction for their initial IPO – instead of a more traditional method using banks and other financial co.’s to find buyers, talks about Google, their IPO 5 years ago, and expresses doubts we’ll see anything as earth-shattering as Google in the future.
