Federal Reserve’s Secret Exit Strategy

Wall Street Pit wants to be on the record as thinking Fed Chair Bernanke has done a great job under an extremely difficult situation to make sure our economy doesn’t go completely bust. Although he has made some mistakes in the regulatory area, overall we think he has performed quite well and should be reappointed. That view is based on everything we mentioned and on the fact he is a superbly qualified economist and perhaps one of the few out there capable of dealing with this particular sort of crisis. Having said that, the following funny clip describes Bernanke’s secret exit strategy of unwinding all the extra money that’s been pumped into the economy. We don’t necessarily agree with the video’s insinuations, but it’s funny watching in nonetheless.
