Rambus Inc. (NASDAQ:RMBS) – Volume picking up but needs to break this trend first. From the technical chart KD line shows positive signals as %K line is rising on top over %D line, and RSI continue moving up. OBV is beginning to turn around which suggests the stock is no longer being sold off. Looks good but hold for a bit.

Sodastream International Limited (NASDAQ:SODA) – The recent increase in trading volume and rising OBV suggests buyers are accumulating stock. A breakout above $45.20 would constitute a technical entry for the short term trader looking for a quick trade.

The recent pull back on Tellabs, Inc. (NASDAQ:TLAB) created a great buying opportunity. The stock closed again above its 50 SMA and is registering a Bullish signal. The 13 day moving average is also showing a positive gradient and is rising since the late August. Let’s see whether the stock can gather enough momentum to break through $4.63. If the Bulls are able to push through this level, there will be a strong rally towards $5.

Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance, Inc. (NASDAQ:ULTA) is finally starting to see some profit taking. I have been expecting a correction lower. Short term investors should hold ULTA with a stoploss of 68-68.7. New long positions should be taken cautiously.

My new play is open. Last week I added Gulf Resources, Inc. (NASDAQ:GURE) to the play list with a trigger to go long at $2. The stock continued to rally and yesterday it broke out past technical resistance at $2.25. The breakout from the resistance line is just a confirmation of the recent upward move. Volume on the session was good, which is a positive sign. The technical daily chart below shows the momentum indicators have turned up and the RSI is on the rise. Although both 50 day and 200 day moving average are showing weakness, KD line is indicating upward swing. For long term investor, this is good to keep him in a trade. Next resistance lies at $2.78.
