BofA Chief of Mergers & Acquisitions Kaplan Leaving

Bank of America (BAC), the biggest U.S. lender by assets, said its global head of M&A Jeffrey Kaplan is leaving the bank to join hedge fund Appaloosa Management and will be replaced by Steven Baronoff who chairs that business, according to a memo obtained by Reuters on Monday. Baronoff has advised on more than $1 trillion of M&A transactions.
