U.S. Trade Deficit Widens to $46.3b in August

The U.S. trade deficit jumped 8.8% to $46.3 billion in August, from $42.6 billion in July, revised, according to a government report released Thursday. More than $35 billion of imports from China arrived in the U.S. in August, a new record high.
