» Today’s Markets: The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost over 65 pts, or 0.75%, to 8675.24.

» Crude futures plummeted $2.50 to $66.05 a barrel following new data showing far more robust U.S. inventories of the commodity than expected.

» The U.S. Dollar Index was up 0.9%, aided by gains in the greenback’s value against the euro, Japanese yen, and British pound.

»  The price of the benchmark 10-year note was up, yielding 3.54%.
