AOL Inc. (AOL) is reportedly in talks to acquire Michael Arrington’s successful tech blog TechCrunch. The terms and status of the deal are not yet clear at this point, but GigaOm’s Om Malik on his blog cited unnamed sources who said the deal is “at a sensitive stage and might fall apart yet”. Having said that however, if a deal materializes, GigaOm sources say that the announcement is likely to come as early as this week.
Business Journal is now reporting that All Thing’s Digital’s Kara Swisher is saying that AOL is offering $20 million to $30 million for TechCrunch.
