30-Year FRM Hits Another Record Low

Freddie Mac said Thursday that the average rate for a 30-year fixed rate mortgage [FRM] was 4.36% this week, down from 4.42% last week. That’s the lowest since Freddie Mac began tracking rates in 1971. Last year at this time, the 30-year FRM averaged 5.14%.
