Senator Carl Levin was hit by a pie by protesters during a Q&A at a deli in Big Rapids, Michigan on Monday. The senator took a question near the end of the meeting from a man who said he was a student, Levin’s office said in a news release. The man read a long statement, then a woman came up and hit Levin with a pie. Senator Levin chairs the Senate Armed Services Committee, which helps direct military and war policy. – Fox News
