Madoff Family Members Taking Advise on Surviving Prison

Bernard Madoff’s niece Shana Madoff, worried she’ll wind up behind bars — has contacted a consultant who teaches white-collar criminals how to survive in federal prison and secure early release, the NYPost reported today (Monday).

Shana, the daughter of Peter Madoff, (Bernie’s brother), who was a compliance officer with Bernie’s firm and according to NYP’s sources: “signed a lot of documents, saying they were correct,” contacted Larry Levine, a former federal prisoner and founder of Wall Street Prison Consultants.

Levine, who is still on federal supervised release after serving 10 years behind bars for counterfeiting securities, refused to identify his client, but admitted “a female relative of Bernie Madoff contacted me.” Levine also said that another member of Madoff’s family had contacted him independently on the same subject.
