In a conference hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, JP Morgan (JPM) CEO Jamie Dimon – said the U.S. can rescue its banking system by end of the current fiscal year if U.S. officials start cooperating and refrain from the “vilification” of corporate America. Dimon also called for the U.S. to create a “systemic risk regulator” and put procedures in place to deal with potential failures of large financial institutions.
