Peter Chernin, the president of News Corp. and the executive who brought Rupert Murdoch’s media giant on Wall Street and in Hollywood, is leaving the company. Chernin and Murdoch sent these e-mails to News Corp’s staff on Monday, announcing Chernin’s departure.
