Foreign demand for U.S. securities soared in September, the Treasury Dept said on Tuesday, as investors grew more confident about a recovery in the world’s largest economy. Net overall capital inflows into the US jumped to $133.5 billion in September from a revised inflow of $25.3 billion in the previous month.
