The US Attorney has brought a series of charges against Raj Rajaratnam, founder of the $3 billion New York hedge fund Galleon Group. The complaint charges Rajaratnam with committing securities fraud and conspiracy fraud over insider trading, alleging that he also omitted material facts and made untrue statements.
