Nobel Prize 2009 Economics Predictions

It is that time of the year when the Nobel Prize winner in economics will be announced. As usual, the award committee is giving no hints about who is in the running before announcing its decision in a news conference at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in Stockholm ; scheduled for Monday October 12, 1:00 p.m. CET, 11:00 a.m. GMT at the earliest. Update: The Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics was awarded to Elinor Ostrom and Oliver Williamson.
