Notable Downgrades: Amazon.com (AMZN), GoPro (GPRO), Oracle (ORCL), Seagate Technology (STX), Urban Outfitters (URBN)

Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN) – The e-commerce giant was removed as 2015 Top Pick at Piper Jaffray.

On valuation measures, Amazon.com Inc. stock it’s trading at a forward P/E multiple of 117.70x next year’s estimated earnings. The t-12-month revenue at Amazon.com is $95.81 billion. AMZN ‘s ROE for the same period is (1.68%).

Shares of the $267.73 billion market cap company are up 88.46% year-over-year and 83.91% year-to-date.

Amazon.com Inc., currently with a median Wall Street price target of $650 and a high target of $750, rose $1.67 to $572.43 in recent trading.

GoPro, Inc. (GPRO) was reiterated a ‘Outperform’ by Wedbush analysts on Monday. The broker however, cut its price target on the stock to $50 from $76.

Shares have traded today between $28.08 and $30.30 with the price of the stock fluctuating between $26.68 to $87.50 over the last 52 weeks.

GoPro Inc. shares are currently changing hands at 26.41x this year’s forecasted earnings, compared to the industry’s 7.77x earnings multiple. Ticker has a t-12 price/sales ratio of 2.23. EPS for the same period registers at $1.12.

Shares of GoPro have gained $0.98 to $29.50 in mid-day trading on Monday, giving it a market cap of roughly $3.92 billion. The stock traded as high as $87.50 in November 4, 2014.

Pacific Crest reported on Monday that they have lowered their rating for Oracle Corporation (ORCL). The firm has downgraded ORCL from ‘Overweight’ to ‘Sector Weight’, noting it does not see downside in the stock, but sees upside as limited.

Oracle Corp. recently traded at $36.89, a loss of $0.48 over Friday’s closing price. The name has a current market capitalization of $157.32 billion.

As for passive income investors, the Redwood City, California-based company pays shareholders $0.60 per share annually in dividends, yielding 1.60%.

Seagate Technology Public Limited Company (STX) had its rating lowered from ‘Positive’ to ‘Neutral’ by analysts at Susquehanna on Monday.

STX was down $0.81 at $38.75 in mid-day trade, moving within a 52-week range of $38.46 to $69.40. The name, valued at $11.50 billion, opened at $39.20. Currently there are 11 analysts that rate STX a ‘Buy’, 3 analysts rate it a ‘Sell’, and 13 rate it a ‘Hold’.

On valuation measures, Seagate Technology PLC shares are currently priced at 7.37x this year’s forecasted earnings. Ticker has a t-12 price/sales ratio of 0.87. EPS for the same period registers at $5.26.

As for passive income investors, the firm pays stockholders $2.16 per share annually in dividends, yielding 5.21%.

Urban Outfitters Inc. (URBN) was downgraded by Wunderlich from a ‘Buy’ rating to a ‘Hold’ rating in a research report issued to clients on Monday. They currently have a $30 price objective on the stock, 19 points lower from their previous price target of $49.

URBN closed at $29.33 on Friday and is currently trading down $0.97.

In the past 52 weeks, shares of the company have traded between a low of $27.89 and a high of $47.25 and are now trading at $28.36.

Shares are down 16.51% since the beginning of the year.
