Pre-Market Buzz: Twitter (TWTR), T-Mobile US (TMUS), OraSure Technologies (OSUR), BlackBerry (BBRY)

Shares of Twitter, Inc. (TWTR) are up more than 3% this morning on news CEO Dick Costolo has decided to step down as CEO effective July 1, 2015. Jack Dorsey, Twitter’s co-founder and former chief, has been named interim CEO while the company looks for a permanent successor. Both will appear on CNBC’s “Squawk On The Street” at 10:00 a.m. ET.

Shares of T-Mobile US, Inc. (TMUS) are higher by nearly 5% to $39.96 in pre-market trading on Friday following a WSJ report that says Dish Network Corp. (DISH) is in talks with  banks about raising $10-$15 billion to fund a bid to acquire the company.

Shares of OraSure Technologies, Inc. (OSUR) are up $0.52, or 8.91%, at $6.32, after the company announced today that it has been awarded a contract for up to $10.4 million in total funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The three-year, multi-phased contract includes an initial commitment of $1.8 million and options for up to an additional $8.6 million to fund certain clinical and regulatory activities.

Shares of BlackBerry Limited (BBRY) were up slightly this morning on news the smartphone maker is considering equipping one of its upcoming units with Google’s (GOOG) Android software.
