Notable Upgrades: Ctrip.com (CTRP), Cisco (CSCO), BlackBerry (BBRY), Crocs, Inc. (CROX), E. I. du Pont de Nemours (DD)

Analysts at Oppenheimer are out with a report this morning upgrading shares of Ctrip.com International Ltd. (CTRP) with an ‘Outperform‘ from ‘Perform‘ rating. The firm set its price target for the company at $80. Ctrip.com was upgraded by at least three investment firms Thursday after the company’s Q1/15 EPS and revenue forecast beat Wall Street estimates. Revenue at Ctrip rose 46% from a year ago to $373 million, at the higher-end of the company’s guidance of $356-$382 million. Diluted EPS came in at ($0.15), much better than the ($0.25) net loss expected.

Ctrip.com International Ltd. ADS shares are currently priced at 279.06x this year’s forecasted earnings, which makes them quite expensive compared to the industry’s 21.60x earnings multiple. Ticker has a forward P/E of 68.56 and t-12 price-to-sales ratio of 7.85. EPS for the same period is $0.26.

In the past 52 weeks, shares of Shanghai, China-based travel services company have traded between a low of $40.74 and a high of $76.00 and are now at $71.16. Shares are up 30.56% year-over-year and 43.65% year-to-date.

Cisco Systems, Inc. (CSCO) was reiterated a ‘Neutral’ by MKM Partners analysts on Thursday. The broker also raised its price target on the stock to $32 from $30. The firm said it believes ticker should lift higher from here on easier product order comps in Q4/15 and Q1/16 vs. Q3/15.

CSCO shares recently lost $0.25 to $29.11. In the past 52 weeks, shares of San Jose, California-based company have traded between a low of $22.49 and a high of $30.31. Shares are up 32.26% year-over-year and 7.04% year-to-date.

BlackBerry Limited (BBRY) was reiterated as ‘Market Perform’ with a $11 from $10 price target on Thursday by Cowen.

BBRY is up $0.09 at $10.35 on regular volume. Midway through trading Thursday, 4.80 million shares of BlackBerry Ltd. have exchanged hands as compared to its average daily volume of 7.48 million shares. The stock ranged in a price between $10.25-$10.45 after having opened the day at $10.31 as compared to the previous trading day’s close of $10.26.

In the past 52 weeks, shares of Waterloo, Ontario-based smartphone maker have traded between a low of $7.16 and a high of $12.63.

BlackBerry shares have fallen 6.56 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has surged 38 percent in the last 52 weeks.

Crocs, Inc. (CROX) was raised to ‘Overweight‘ from ‘Neutral‘ at Piper Jaffray on Thursday.

CROX shares recently gained $0.61 to $15.15. The stock is down 2.09% year-over-year and has gained roughly 17% year-to-date. In the past 52 weeks, shares of Niwot, Colorado-based company have traded between a low of $10.25 and a high of $16.83.

Crocs Inc. closed Wednesday at $14.54. The name has a total market cap of $1.17 billion.

Analysts at BofA/Merrill (BAC) upgraded their rating on the shares of E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company (DD). In a research note published on Thursday, the firm lifted the name with a ‘Neutral‘ from ‘Underperform‘ rating.

On valuation measures, E.I. DuPont de Nemours & Co. shares are currently priced at 20.02x this year’s forecasted earnings compared to the industry’s 16.45x earnings multiple. Ticker has a PEG and forward P/E ratio of 2.08 and 15.62, respectively. Price/sales for the same period is 1.85 while EPS is $3.50. Currently there are 5 analysts that rate DD a ‘Buy‘, 15 rate it a ‘Hold‘. No analyst rates it a ‘Sell‘. DD has a median Wall Street price target of $72.50 with a high target of $91.00.
