Microsoft Corp. shares are currently priced at 16.70x this year’s forecasted earnings, which makes them inexpensive compared to the industry’s 34.78x earnings multiple. Ticker has a forward P/E of 14.36 and t-12 price-to-sales ratio of 3.54. EPS for the same period is $2.48.

In the past 52 weeks, shares of Redmond Washington-based software giant have traded between a low of $38.51 and a high of $50.05 and are now at $41.40. Shares are up less than one percent year-over-year ; down 12.64% year-to-date.

Analysts at Nomura upgraded their rating on the shares of VMware, Inc. (VMW). In a research note published on Monday, the firm lifted the name with a ‘Buy‘ from ‘Neutral‘ rating.

On valuation measures, VMware Inc. shares are currently priced at 41.17x this year’s forecasted earnings compared to the industry’s 34.78x earnings multiple. Ticker has a PEG and forward P/E ratio of 1.22 and 18.27, respectively. Price/sales for the same period is 5.69 while EPS is $2.04. Currently there are 21 analysts that rate VMW a ‘Buy’, 19 rate it a ‘Hold’. 1 analyst rates it a ‘Sell’. VMW has a median Wall Street price target of $95.00 with a high target of $130.00.

Investment analysts at KLR Group initiated coverage on shares of Parsley Energy, Inc. (PE) in a note issued to investors on Monday. The firm set a ‘Buy’ rating and a $23 price target on the stock. KLRs price target would suggest a potential upside of 30% from the stock’s current price of $17.64.

Parsley Energy, Inc, currently valued at $1.97 billion, has a median Wall Street price target of $19.50 with a high target of $25.00. Approximately 1.58 million shares have already changed hands, compared to the stock’s average daily volume of 1.72 million.

In the past 52 weeks, shares of independent oil and natural gas company have traded between a low of $11.11 and a high of $25.70 with the 50-day MA and 200-day MA located at $15.43 and $16.35 levels, respectively. The Priceline Group Inc. shares have a median Wall Street price target of $1,380.00 with a high target of $1,860.00.

In the past 52 weeks, shares of Norwalk, Connecticut-based online travel services firm have traded between a low of $990.69 and a high of $1,329.90. Shares are down 8.39% year-over-year ; up 1.77% year-to-date.

8×8 Inc. (EGHT) was reiterated an ‘Outperform’ by Northland Capital analysts on Monday. The broker also raised its price target on the stock to $11.25 from $10, implying 24% expected upside.

EGHT shares recently gained $0.21 to $9.08. In the past 52 weeks, shares of San Jose, California-based company have traded between a low of $5.69 and a high of $11.15. Shares are down 19.87% year-over-year and 3.17% year-to-date.

  1. MSFT has been down all quarter. Looking at real analysts that have no relation to Redmond or any other competitor stock says sell.
