Vivendi SA, the owner of the world’s largest music company, may decide to sell its stake in NBC Universal Inc. at a board meeting on Oct. 14, a person familiar with the situation said. Vivendi, which owns 20 percent of NBC Universal, may prefer to sell since the unit isn’t performing as well as the company’s majority-owned operations.
